A partire da mercoledì 28 ottobre, il film Le Streghe arriva in Italia. Sarà disponibile su Amazon Prime Video, Apple Tv, Youtube, Google Play, TIMVISION, Chili, Rakuten TV, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Film & TV e per il noleggio premium su Sky Primafila e Infinity. La pellicola vede un cast degno di nota: Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer, Stanley Tucci, Kristin Chenoweth, Chris Rock, Jahzir Kadeem Bruno e Codie-Lei Eastick.

Basato sul racconto di Roald Dahl, Le Streghe è prodotto da Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, Guillermo Del Toro, Alfonso Cuaron e Luke Kelly. La produzione esecutiva, invece, è stata affidata a Jacqueline Levine, Marianne Jenkins, Michael Siegel, Gideon Simeloff e Cate Adams.

Le Streghe: la trama

Le Streghe porta sullo schermo una rivisitazione in chiave moderna dell’amato racconto di Roald Dahl. Sul finire del 1960, un giovane orfano di nome Bruno va a vivere con la nonna Spencer a Demopolis, una cittadina rurale dell’Alabama. I due si imbattono in alcune streghe dall’aspetto glamour ma davvero diaboliche. La nonna decide di portare il nipote in una sfarzosa località balneare, ma arrivano in loco nello stesso momento in cui la Strega Suprema (interpretata da Anne Hathaway) ha riunito la ‘colleghe’ di tutto il mondo. Le streghe, tutte rigorosamente sotto copertura, devono portare a termine i loro piani malefici.
